Chimichuri Sauce
1 Cup Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley
1 Cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves
1/4 large Red Onion
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Serrano Pepper
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
Juice from 1/2 Lime
Salt/Pepper
Small Pinch Dried Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions
Thoroughly wash and drain the parsley and cilantro. Chop and keep aside.
Mince the chopped onion, chopped Serrano pepper, chopped garlic first in the blender. Then add the chopped parsley and cilantro, lime juice and olive oil. Blend till you get desired consistency. Check seasoning.
Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
